With words like twerk, selfie and bae surfacing daily, it would seem odd that a word like vape would take the crown in the most recent Oxford Dictionary: Word of the Year.
"Vape" is defined as a "verb meaning to inhale and exhale the vapour produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device," according to Oxford.
With an industry taking the world by storm over the past two years, perhaps it ins't as far-fetched as first thought. In fact, since January of 2013 queries on the popular search engine Google, have increased from 14,000 in Canada and U.S to 135,000 in November of 2013!
