Should you choose fruit flavours or ice flavours? Learn the differences, explore popular flavour profiles, and discover which vape experience is right for you.
One of the most common questions we hear at Lucky 8 Vapes is simple: "Should I choose fruit flavours or ice flavours?" The answer depends entirely on your personal preference, vaping style, and the type of experience you're looking for.
Whether you're shopping in Vancouver, Richmond, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, or anywhere else in Canada, fruit and ice flavours continue to dominate the vaping world. Let's break down the differences and help you discover your next favourite flavour profile.
What Are Fruit Flavours?
Fruit flavours focus on delivering the natural sweetness, tartness, and juiciness of popular fruits. These flavours are often smooth, vibrant, and easy to enjoy throughout the day.
Popular fruit flavour profiles include:
Strawberry
Mango
Watermelon
Blueberry
Raspberry
Peach
Grape
Lychee
Passion Fruit
Kiwi
Fruit flavours are often chosen by vapers who enjoy sweeter and more flavour-forward experiences without a cooling sensation.
What Are Ice Flavours?
Ice flavours combine fruit profiles with a cooling finish. Depending on the flavour, the cooling sensation can range from subtle and refreshing to intensely icy.
You'll often see names such as:
Watermelon Ice
Blue Razz Ice
Mango Ice
Peach Ice
White Grape Ice
Strawberry Ice
Extreme Mint
Mint Ice
The cooling effect can make flavours feel cleaner and more refreshing, especially during warmer months.
Why Ice Flavours Have Become So Popular
Many vapers enjoy ice flavours because the cooling sensation adds another layer to the flavour experience. Rather than simply tasting fruit, you also experience a refreshing finish that can help prevent flavour fatigue.
Who Should Choose Fruit Flavours?
You may prefer fruit flavours if:
You enjoy sweeter flavour profiles.
You don't like cooling sensations.
You prefer smooth, juicy flavours.
You enjoy tropical blends and berry combinations.

Who Should Choose Ice Flavours?
You may prefer ice flavours if:
You enjoy a refreshing finish.
You like mint or menthol profiles.
You want flavours that feel crisp and clean.
You enjoy stronger flavour contrast.
Many customers find that ice flavours remain enjoyable throughout the day because the cooling sensation keeps the flavour profile feeling fresh.

For many vapers, fruit and ice blends offer the perfect balance. These flavours combine the sweetness of fruit with a refreshing finish.
Some customer favourites include:
Blue Razz Ice

These flavour profiles continue to be among the best-selling disposable and pod flavours across Canada.

Final Verdict
If you enjoy sweeter, juicy flavours, fruit profiles are an excellent choice. If you want a refreshing finish and a cleaner-feeling vape, ice flavours may be the better option.
The good news is that there is no wrong answer. Many experienced vapers rotate between fruit and ice flavours throughout the week to keep things fresh.
